ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) is MRR divided by paying customers. It shows how much each customer pays per month on average.
Formula
ARPU = MRR ÷ Customers
Divide total monthly recurring revenue by active paying customers.
Worked example
Inputs: $48,000 MRR · 800 customers
- ARPU = $48,000 / 800 = $60
ARPU = $60/month
